Dato’ Kamarul Airi bin Arifin is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pertubuhan Perkemas Malaysia (PERKEMAS) and a senior Asia-Pacific representative of Al Amari Group, with over 15 years of active involvement in strategic business development, government relations, investment initiatives, and international project facilitation across Asia.
Over the course of his career with Al Amari Group, Dato’ Kamarul has played an important role in developing and maintaining high-level relationships with government institutions, business leaders, and strategic stakeholders in Malaysia and across the wider Asia-Pacific region. He has been involved in facilitating and completing several major projects in collaboration with Al Amari Group, with an aggregate project value exceeding USD 5.8 billion.
As CEO of Pertubuhan Perkemas Malaysia (PERKEMAS), he is also involved in organizational leadership, strategic engagement, and the development of relationships with key stakeholders in Malaysia and internationally.
Dato’ Kamarul works closely with Al Amari Group in developing strategic relationships with the Governments of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, particularly in relation to diplomatic engagement, investment initiatives, strategic projects, and cross-border business cooperation.
With more than 15 years of regional experience, extensive institutional relationships, and a strong understanding of international investment and project development, Dato’ Kamarul Airi bin Arifin continues to serve as an important representative of Al Amari Group throughout the Asia-Pacific region while providing leadership through PERKEMAS Malaysia.
